Description
Project Information: • Installation of an operating theater for ophthalmological operations at the Hetauda Community Eye Hospital. • The investment costs are estimated at US$ 115’849’371 NPL Rupie. • An existing small ophthalmology center is currently being extended with the aim of increasing capacity and carrying out more complex ophthalmological procedures. Costs of the structural extension are being covered by a private sponsor (Nepalese businessman Khetan). • Funds are urgently needed for the functional elements and the furnishing of the operating theater (budget US$ 115,689, exchange rate as of May 13, 2025 when funding request were submitted to the DDFs). • A global grant application (GGA) has been initiated: GG 2580398 As a partner of the local host club RC Hetauda, the Rotary Club of Brig is committed to securing the funding.
