Project Description
Rotary Club of Hetauda organized a free eye screening and cataract surgery camp. In the first phase of the free eye camp held from 27th to 30th November, 720 people were given free eye screening in Chitwan, Sarlahi and Makawanpur, out of which 72 affected patients underwent surgery.
The surgery was performed on 30th November 2025 at Hetauda Community Eye Hospital, Hetauda. Rotary Club of Hetauda took care of all the expenses of the patients who needed to undergo surgery, including food and accommodation, transportation to Hetauda and the surgery itself.
The free eye surgery camp, which was conducted with the technical assistance of Hetauda Community Eye Hospital (Tilganga Eye Program), saw significant participation from Rotarians and Retractors.
