Project Description
The 3-month basic tailoring training was conducted under the joint initiative of Rotary Club of Hetauda and the Women Protection Center. During the training period, the participants were provided with basic knowledge of sewing and cutting, fabric design, measuring methods and practical exercises.
The chief guest, District Coordination Committee Chairman Lalit Ghalan, expressed his belief that skill-based training will lead women towards self-employment and economic empowerment and urged them to put the acquired skills into practice. He said that if the knowledge learned from the training can be linked to income generation, there will be a positive change in the economic situation of the family and society.
Rotary Club of Hetauda President Pramesh Pradhan presented certificates to the participants who successfully completed the training and said that sewing machines, interlock machines, tables and other equipment were provided to help them in running the sewing profession.
