Project Description
310 people underwent eye checkup at the camp, which was supported by the Rotary Club of Hetauda and the Hetauda Community Eye Hospital. During the checkup, 10 people were found to have cataracts and free surgery has been arranged for them.
A team of experienced ophthalmologists and health workers conducted eye tests, consultations and distributed necessary medicines at the camp. Citizens who could not undergo regular health check-ups due to financial constraints have directly benefited from this program. .
The club has expressed its belief that such health camps that have been organized by the club will make a significant contribution to the timely identification and treatment of eye diseases in the community. The objective of the camp was to provide easy eye treatment services to the local citizens and increase public awareness about eye health.
