Project Description

It is essential to emphasize music education to strengthen the practice of inclusive education and to develop confidence, creativity, and self-reliance in visually impaired students. For visually impaired students, music is not just a hobby, but can become a basis for livelihood and a powerful means of expression.

The Rotary Club of Hetauda has arranged to provide monthly remuneration to 2 qualified and experienced music teachers with the aim of providing regular music education to 22 visually impaired students studying at Shree Baljyoti Secondary School, Piple, Hetauda.

The remuneration provided to music teachers for 1 year will cover regular music classes, practice sessions, and necessary music consultations. Rotary Club of Hetauda President Pramesh Pradhan handed over the first two months' salary to music teachers Tul Bahadur Lama and Sunil KC today at the Secretariat building.

This program is expected to boost the self-confidence of visually impaired students and make them socially competent. This initiative will prove to be an important step in creating an environment where they can operate independently in the music industry on their own in the future.
