Project Description
The free eye screening and cataract surgery camp held in Rautahat, Bara, Parsa and Mahottari districts for 6 days from 18th to 23rd has been successfully completed with 107 surgeries.
818 people were examined in the free eye screening camp conducted in 4 districts. Among the eye examinations, 175 patients were found to have cataracts. After various examinations of the patients found, 107 people were surgery on at Hetauda Community Eye Hospital.
Rotarians and Retractors had significant participation in the surgeries conducted with the technical support of Hetauda Community Eye Hospital (Tilgankha Eye Program). Rotary Club of Hetauda took care of all the expenses for the food, accommodation, transportation to Hetauda, and surgery for all the patients who needed surgery.
