8-9 July 2025 - Free Hair Cutting Program at School: Promoting Hygiene, Confidence, and Discipline

8-9th July 2025, the Totary Club of Hetauda successfully organized a Free Hair Cutting Program at School. This meaningful initiative was aimed at promoting personal hygiene, self-confidence, and discipline among students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. Over 275 students benefited from the program, which was conducted with the help of our Club Admin Chair, Rtn. Durga Bahadur Bista who volunteered their time and service.

This program was made possible through the active collaboration of the Club, Pragati Secondary School administration, and Colorado Hair Cutting Parlor. Rotary members coordinated the event, managed logistics, and ensured proper hygiene and safety throughout the program.
Barbers followed all necessary sanitation practices, and the event was conducted in a smooth, respectful, and organized manner. Teachers and parents were highly appreciative of the Club’s support and concern for the children’s well-being.

The program was warmly received by the school headmaster and President Elect Rtn. Kishor Parajuli. Teachers noted improved grooming and renewed confidence among the students. Parents expressed gratitude toward the Rotary Club of Hetauda for caring about children’s dignity and health.
